Endorsement from Ray Phillips, President of Protect Sudbury

I urge you to vote on March 25 for Bill Schineller for Board of Selectman.

As a volunteer and president of local nonprofit Protect Sudbury, I have come to know Bill Schineller over the past three years in his role as our government relations lead. During this time, Bill has devoted countless hours fostering strong relationships with our local, state and federal officials.

Bill has proven to be an effective voice for our community and has exhibited the wisdom, integrity and experience that this position demands.

In this grassroots volunteer role, Bill has had a major impact on this community initiative by reaching out to and effectively communicating with all parts of the political landscape.
Bill’s energy and relentless pursuit of the truth has been an inspiration to the Protect Sudbury organization as well as our entire community.

I am confident that Bill’s dogged persistence, analytical skills and ability to effect change within all levels of government will be a much-needed asset to our community.

Bill has the relevant experience required to effectively work on the many diverse issues facing our town. His persistence, transparency and ability to uncover the facts will help our BOS make important choices and avoid the unintended consequences that have previously hurt this town.
Our community is faced with major challenges over the next three years: diversifying our tax base, prioritizing capital expenditures, strengthening our schools while preserving the town’s historic and environmental character.

Sudbury needs selectmen with the depth and breadth of experience necessary to meet today’s challenges while charting the course to realize the potential of tomorrow’s opportunities. For these reasons, I offer my unconditional endorsement of Bill Schineller for a seat on our Board of Selectman.
